Together we can help you be you with greater ease and acceptance.
Rather than hiding from important feelings and vulnerabilities, therapy provides you with a safe and nonjudgmental relationship that encourages you to explore your thoughts and emotions, and better understand your desires, fears and behaviors. Whether you are experiencing depression, worry/anxiety, relationship concerns, the impact of trauma/PTSD, or a general sense that things just don't feel right, together we can find ways to ease your pain and use your emotions to guide you forward.
With compassion, I'll help you identify your hopes and needs, the obstacles in your way, and how you might create the life and relationships you want. I truly enjoy helping people develop greater self-compassion, find ways to balance their own needs with the needs of others, and heal from past trauma and disappointments to regain a sense of safety and self-worth.
I have a particular interest in working with people who have quieted their own feelings and desires to accommodate others, but who now strive to listen to and express their own wishes and emotions more fully and relate to others in a more honest, open, and authentic way.
