"Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight."  ― e.e. cummings

Painful emotions and difficult situations can provide us with the opportunity to learn something new, or they can cause us to tighten up and shut down. Without sufficient support or security, we might turn away from new experiences and interactions, rather than feeling curious and safe enough to explore, grow, and connect. When we avoid growth and change, we ultimately end up feeling lonely, lost, and self-critical.

If this sounds familiar, I'm glad you are here.

Since 2000, I've been helping individuals and couples become more engaged and present in their lives and relationships, and more hopeful and prepared for new possibilities.

I have extensive experience and affinity with LGBTQ and gender-queer people, and welcome individuals and couples from all walks of life. I have a strong commitment to honoring diversity in all its forms--race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, nationality, religion and economic background--and welcome exploration of the many ways your unique identities impact your life and our work together.
