I work with couples of all genders and sexualities. Therapy provides a stable and nonjudgmental place to manage conflicts, express your needs, and develop a more loving and effective way of interacting. I collaborate with each of you individually and as a couple to uncover destructive patterns of relating, and to build up what each of you needs to feel accepted, trusting, understood, and loved.

I am Certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and this is my main approach in working with couples. Emotionally Focused Therapy is a non-blaming, non-shaming, attachment-based, and experientially-focused approach that helps couples understand and transform their familiar patterns of conflict, and allows them to experience new interactions that foster safety, trust, and connection. Rigorous studies have shown EFT has a remarkable 75 percent success rate (that's more than twice the success rate studies have shown for other forms of couples therapy). Research also shows that these effects are long-lasting.

In addition to Emotionally Focused Therapy, I also draw upon skills from The Gottman Method, as well as years of experience working with people of diverse sexualities and genders.
